ay 20, 2009. The second day we come to corporate for BlackBerry server troubleshooting in kuningan area. The problem because server BES is down, they IT team inform us that server was have corrupt file. This information they have from result try to troubleshoot by themselves.
When first we came, I suggest to build new server for new installation BES software. So they IT prepare for installation to fulfill the checklist have gave to them.
I try to make sure the pre – installation checklist BES server is done. After that, installation is start to process. In middle the process we must stop for several minute because we need license for BES server, because the old server had format so IT team must search in they document. For information they using VMware for they network. It take several minute and then we continue installation.
Process installation is finnish, next step is test the device to activate one user. But the problem is they have not device for test, all user in BES server is high level, because of this we must wait they IT ask one of the users to borrow the device. Next step we backup device that we successful borrow from user and then wipe handheld then restore the file and the last activation user from Desktop Manager. Everything is work.
